Cymatics — 音流学 — is the study of how vibration gives matter a shape: change the frequency and the pattern changes. Daoist ritual had an older word for the same idea: 音诵 (yīn sòng), the sung recitation of scripture, where sound is treated as a shaping force, not just a carrier of meaning. A label works the same way — a one-sentence judgment you keep repeating until it feels like a fact. But the Dao also allows no action: sometimes the label is dropped, not swapped — no fixing, no judging. The tool tells you when that is the honest move. Write the problem that keeps coming back and the label you hold about it: the tool names that label, what it costs, the opposite label, and the evidence to collect for it this week.
